  1. I received my build record last week. I sent my form in October of 2020 but they didn't have access to the archival records then.
  2. Thanks! My wire harness was redone but it was homemade by the person who restored the truck. I've recently purchased a new harness which I plan on installing. As I fill the gas tank, I’m getting a change in resistance at both the sending unit and at the wire that goes to the dash (and the numbers match). The wire from the ignition switch to the fuel gauge has a star lock washer, but the one from the sending unit does not. -- Brian
  3. I'd like to get some assistance (and double checking) of the truck and engine information for my 1935 KH-32 V: body tag: B-3-0-LR15988 B-3-0 = cab for a chassis cowl KH-32V (mid size truck with just the sheet metal from the dash forward, no windshield) 15988 = sequential number in B-3-0 sequence build date: between June and October 1935 engine numbers casting date: 8-12 = August 12, 1935???? casting number (is this the correct term?): 882929-2 = ???? engine number (left side of engine block, at front, below the cylinder head): T-13-7512 T = truck engine T13: Make = Dodge Truck, Model = KH 16-18-V, KH 21-23-V, KH31-33-V Year = 1935 512th engine built???? lower casting (is this the correct term?): 107 = ???? engineering code: T-13-E T = truck, 23" long, 201 ci E = 1-1/2 ton serial number: 8239904

  5. Can someone assist me in decoding the engine in my 1935 Dodge Truck (model KH-32V): engine number: T13-7512 casting date: 8-12 number on lower casting: 107 block casting (?): 882929-2 The body tag number is B-3-0-LR15988, the engineering code is T-13-E (I believe this means it's a 201 in^3), and the serial number is 8239904. I'm trying to determine what spark plug replacements to get. The manual says S9 and there are J-8s in the truck now. I believe it's a cast iron flathead. thank you, -- Brian
  6. I believe my gauge needs to be grounded properly. Any advice on how to do that? thank you, -- Brian
  7. Does anyone have a fuel gauge for a 1935 Dodge Truck? Or have suggestions as to who might have one?
  8. Here is what is on my 1935 Dodge Truck (Model KH-32 V).
  9. I'm planning on replacing the spark plugs in my 1935 Dodge Truck (KH-32 V, Engine Number T13-7512). The maintenance manual (for a K-32) says the part number is S9 (copper, 14 mm thread, .025" gap) and there are J-8 spark plugs in there now. From the data I've referenced, it seems that it has cast iron cylinder heads. Any recommendations on replacement spark plugs?

  11. I'm interested in having the headlight reflectors on my 1935 Dodge Truck resilvered. Any recommendations? I was considering Uvira's Aluminum-Pyrex process but it doesn't appear that they are in business any more. Someone in another forum suggested Steve's Auto Restoration (https://www.stevesautorestorations.com/services/headlight-resilvering/). Any advice would be appreciated.
