  1. Hey is the steering wheel and speedo insert still available??
  2. I love this thread man. I miss the days of paying for the car behind you's coffee order at starbucks, holding the door open for strangers just because, and the little things we used to do normally to be kind to one another. Seems like more of a distant memory in today's climate. I have really enjoyed being a newer member of AACA because I realized this is a collection of like minded men and women who enjoy car culture same as me and are just great humans to congregate with. Thumbs up guys.
  3. I bought one for a sedan and got it hole and it didn’t fit. That’s why I’m in this boat lol. Thanks though!
  4. That’s awesome! How much you looking for? Thank you so much!
  5. Congrats man! I want a Sedanette too. I see all these chevy guys chopping tops and trying to create what the Sedanette already has, a very sexy streamlined fastback.... such a cool car. You lucky dog!
  6. Hi, those look to be earlier than the 1946. Mine has another slight bend on the sides like wings. Those are in great shape though... wow
  7. Thank you. I’m in Northern California 415-531-1328.
  8. Anyone know where I can pick one up? Thanks all.
  9. Hi everyone I have a couple parts I need to finish gathering all my stainless trim for my 1947 Buick super convertible. does anyone know or have a stainless curved trim that sits atop the gravel guard in front of the back fender? I need one more. thank you!
  10. Looking for the divider garnish the rear view mirror attaches to for my 1947 Buick Super Convertible. Let me know, thank you.
  11. Yup, I just found that out... aftermarket. Thanks guys!
  12. Wow, ok, I appreciate the help. That explains it. I couldn’t find a part number anywhere!
  13. Hi everyone, I got this hood ornament for my 1947 Buick Super and then realized it’s not for my car. I want to sell it as it’s in great condition but I don’t want someone to get burned because I mislabeled it. Can anyone tell me what car this is from? it’s a bombsight like my Buick, but it’s a standalone bolt on, not part of a longer trim.... anyone know?

  15. That’s what I was afraid of. But good info, I’m not using hydraulic so I’ll look for earlier seats. Thanks man!
  16. Hi guys, my 1947 Buick 2 door was missing seats when I got the car. I don’t think just and bench with flippers will do as the original seats look to be thin and swoopy on the tops like this picture. The originals had room for the backseat peoples feet and were thinner to help with the room for the backseat passenger I suppose. I was at a swap a few months ago and a guy was selling 1947 Cadillac seats out of a four-door in the backseats seem to work out but the front seat is a hard bench, no flip. I thought about modifying this front seat and parts from a newer seat, but that seems like a terrible amount of work. but the base looks just like the base of the original Buick seats foot room and all. question is did any other GM vehicles have thin and swooping seat backs or is this going to be impossible to find now or an arm and a leg if I do find it? anyone have this problem before and found a way around it? Any suggestions? Thanks
  17. Dude! You got that for free??? Badass little convertible! Thank God you saved it, no reason for that thing to become 3 Honda’s
  18. Hi all, my 47 convertible super was in 2 halves when I got the car and now I am rebuilding the floor pan and the rocker panels, but as you know sheet metal for these cars are very limited., leaving me to fabricate lots of it. I have lots of it worked out already but I am unsure of a few angles and want to make sure I am building it right and the doors will shut and the door seams will look correct. is anyone willing to take some detailed pics of your rocker panels with the door open so I can get a visual of what I need to replicate? Specifically the area I am showing in this attached picture. any help is greatly appreciated.
  19. I’ll take one of those please! 👍🏽
  20. Hi, I just bought some parts from @Killshot169 and his brother Ed for my 1947 Buick Super. They were honest, very descriptive in how the parts looked, sent me detailed photos, were extremely fair with pricing and on top of all that are just great people to talk to and deal with. I’d like to help them with their sales for being so cool to me so I’m posting this. (Just don’t take the parts I still need… JK) 😂 I don’t post other peoples phone numbers so you’ll need to get a hold of Killshot169 to ask for parts, but you won’t be disappointed. Thank you AACA for allowing me a home to meet such great guys. Happy new year all. MG
  21. Hey I just saw this and texted that number even though I know it’s really late it’s 10:30 at night here in California. I just didn’t want to miss this. Thank you for this!
