  1. In 1927 the Chevrolet company rewarded dealerships that met a sales quota with this trophy radiator cap. It was a replica of the Charles Lindberg's Spirit of St. Louis. This was issued to Charles Blosser's Chevrolet dealership in Concordia, Kansas. (The building was at 6th St. and Lincoln. It now houses a museum and a Kansas traveler information station for the North Central area. The Blosser's name is still slightly visible at the top of the building.) This unit is in its original complete condition. There is some separation of the casting at the rear (see picture #4) I'm not sure if this was an original miscasting or just age, but I have not done anything to try and restore it. I'm listing this at $900 plus postage. Any questions or interest is welcome. Thanks for looking. Tag line: Car dealerships rewards, airplane hood ornament, unique radiator caps, Chevrolet memorabilia, Lindy memorabilia.
  2. I’m listing a group of Ford crossmembers U bolts. Most of these are Model T, A, and later. Since there were a lot of different combinations that were used, depending on the year, frame, and number of springs used, I’m including all the measurements including the distance from the base to the cotter pin hole. Although I have not taken the time to clean most of these up, I have chased down the threads to make sure that they are in good condition. Most all are fine threaded and use the castle nuts, but there is one that is a coarser thread and I think there are 2 that do not use the castle nuts. I have tried to list most of the information and photos and put a reasonable price as I think they might be worth. LMK if I'm out of line. Will try and keep the shipping cost at a minimum. Tag Line: Model T & A suspension parts, Early Ford V8 suspension parts, Hot Rod, Rat Rod. Ford Spring U bolts.
  3. What I have are some left over Model A and T carburetors and pieces. I've labeled these 1 through 6 and tried to describe them along w/the price. Might have some other extra pieces as I going through boxes. If you want to make an inquiry or need more information or photos LMK. Will try and keep postage at a minimum. Thanks for looking. (#5 and #6 GONE) ( #1 through #4 are GONE also) Sorry!!!! Tag Line: Vintage Ford Engines, Updraft Carbs. Antique carburetor parts.
  4. I have 4 early Carter bodies in various stages of completions. Will try and describe and illustrate the condition of each. Asking for $50 for all four, including postage. If additional information or photos LMK. Old Carter Carburetors 1. CRX-0 Body (w/ butterfly, brass filter, #10 on barrel) (dated 12-5-16, 4-17-17) 2. CRX-0 Body (w/ brass bowl, #11 on barrel) (dated 12-5-16, 4-17-17) 3. CRX-0 Body (w/ butterfly, #16 on barrel) (dated 12-5-16, 4-17-17) 4. DR-0 Body ( w/ butterfly) (dated 4-17-17, 12-5-16)
  5. Found these in an old Firestone Spark Plug box as was I going through trying to clean up the shop. There are 9 canisters w/ advertisement, promotions, and sale pitches from the early 40s to the 50s, that were used by dealers back in the day. Some are in color, but most are B & W. I think that they have been preserved fairly well in their little metal containers, although the capsules show their age. I tried to roughly scan an image just to show an example of what was on the strips. My attempt in no way shows the quality imagery or the clarity. To illustrate that fact the film strip that I tried to scan is in living color and you can see the results I had. I'm going to list these historical items as $10 a piece, or if you want them all, it will be $50. plus the postage which shouldn’t be that much. Tag lines: Dealership materials, Car training instruction, antique auto memorabilia. Blosser's Chevrolet, Concordia, Ks. SOLD
  6. Just wanting to check up on things. If you had put a check in the mail, I want you to know it never arrived. You might want to see what happen to it. If you changed your mind, that's fine I just need to know. Hope everything is going all right, and that you're enjoying the holidays. Larry .
  7. Selling parts from an old restoration shop. This is a NOS thermostat marked for a early Chrysler. I'm sure there are other applications that this unit fits. This is a USA made Fulton Syphon bellows thermostat design that was used from the 20s through the 40s. If you need additional information or photos email me lhuffy34@gmail.com. Thanks for looking. $25. include shipping. ( I have 1 of these left.)
  8. Thanks that makes sense. I just can't figure out what they were using to generate any juice for the charging system. Yeah, as far as the engine, this engine sat in an old KR Wilson unit that had a pulley system out the back with all the controls and clutch assembly. Pretty neat setup, I think it was manufactured back in 'the early 30's. It was a heavy duty unit, anyway.
  9. This unit is sitting in place of a generator on a stationary 59a Ford engine. I know I'm going to replace this unit with a regular generator, but would like to know anything that someone can share as to what unit did and its maker, ect. I'd never seen one so just curious. Thanks for any help.
  10. One of the boxes that I've found from an old storage bin had 3 of these units resting on a wooden dowel. Each of these are about 3inches in length. I'm assuming this is part of some tool, but I can't figure out what it might have been used for. Thanks you for any advice or information.
  11. This 1st day issue from Detroit in 1988 is professionally matted and ready to be placed in your favorite frame. The 5 stamps on this 1st day issue shows the colorful images of the 1928 Locomobile, 1929 Pierce-Arrow, 1931 Cord, 1932 Packard, and the 1933 Duesenberg as well as the special envelope with printed images of the same 5 cars.. The color of the mats and stamps are better than what I have scanned, because the whole unit is presently wrapped in protective cellophane. The mat is made for a 8" x 10" frame. This unit makes for a special gift for anyone interested in Classic cars, stamps, or art prints. Selling this for $20 (This will include any postage and handling). Email me if you have an intertest lhuffy34@gmail.com

  13. What I have is a nos 4 cylinder distributor cap that was marked for a 1926-28 Dodge. This is an old Bakelite distributor cap and is made for other applications. With a little research, I have listed those applications in the photo files. This cap has never been installed and comes from parts storage from an old restoration shop. If you need any measurements, additional pics, or other information Email me at lhuffy34@gmail.com. $40 including S/H. Thanks for your interest. Tag line: 1926-36 4 Cylinder Chrysler, Plymouth, Graham, Chevy, Reo, Federal, I.H.C. and Stewart.
  14. Thank you sir, for solving my inquiry. I also thank you for the photo, it all makes sense after I see how it was used. I had found it in a box of old radiator and gas caps, mostly Fords. Liked the imagery that they put into the design and wanted to know its origin. Thanks again
  15. Could someone that is familiar with Dodges identify what year this (what I'm amusing is a) gas cap and if it was made for a special model. Thanks
