I have a 51 chevy the welds are very poor looking,but i will leave them alone because the car is pretty much original.

i have a 51 chevy that is pretty much original with some rust on the bottom, frame and floor,not looking to remove the rust i just want to preserve what is there without it getting worse,what should i do?
