  1. I know you're in Minnesota. I'm selling my 35 if you're interested. It's on Facebook Marketplace
  2. 3500 obo located in the twin cities Minnesota. FOR SALE 3500 obo near saint paul MN 1935 Pontiac Silver Streak "8" series 605 four door sedan. Factory suicide doors on all 4 MOSTLY COMPLETE WITH ALMOST EVERY HARD TO FIND PART. Including maiden hood mascot, inside sun visors, fog lights, cloth trim handles, door handles and window cranks, all window trim in good shape. All of the badging and trim is on the car. Best I can tell is that the motor is a 1948 Pontiac straight 8. That would make it a 248ci I believe. The motor was modified to fit in the 35 and turns over by hand. I have not run it yet but I purchased a nos 40s pontiac 2bbl carb, another crankshaft and a new set of valves, springs, and lifters came with the car from the previous owner. Have all the interior seat frames and Springs. I have templates for door cards. I have all the interior trim such as door handles window cranks etc. Some new engine gaskets and rubber pads for headlights. Full size spare tire( 5 matching artillery style rims 4 caps) a day two correct add on canister oil filter housing. Rear bumper, gaurds and indian bumper plate also installed. Lots of extra parts. Floors are in really great shape with a couple patches needed by rear axle. Wood is also pretty solid. The frame was restored and painted many years ago by the previous owner and is in great shape. It's been garage kept most of its life and it still retains most of its original paint. When you wipe it down with linseed oil, it brings out the patina. And it reminds me of and old leather wallet. It looks pretty neat and I don't think you could replicate it. I got this car in boxes and I've been putting it together slowly but surely. Now it needs to move out of my garage so I can free up some space to finish my 62 impala. I was going the patina Rat Rod kind of look so I started to patina some of the rusty chrome. I started by sandblasting and priming painting and distressing a few pieces. Hence why they look a little bit different. I have most of the glass for the car here there's only a couple usable pieces. I have the broken ones to use for templates. It will be a cool car when done. Feel free to ask any questions Car does have some transmission issues. Was filled with water. I got things moving but it probably needs to be rebuilt. I have a brand new rebuilt 37 transmission with all new internals to go along with the car. Almost everything will fit right in there. Many extra parts. If interested send me your contact info and I will respond. Thank you

  5. Randy. I have a 1935 sedan and I am in the twin cities. Would pictures of the inside of my doors help at all? The craftsmanship is pretty primitive. I know your doors would be different. If it wood help... Let me know. Paul
  6. Thank you all for the info! Without you all, I would be lost. Going to grab a 36 trans today. About 3 hours north of me! I am excited to get this car project moving forward. Pun intended. 🙂
