  1. Since I am going to check the leaky LIM gasket so I am also gonna get new bolts for the intake manifold. I went to the O'Reilly website and there are several options for the intake manifold, what's the correct size for the LN3 3800? O'Reilly's got the 3/8-16, but those are for the RWD 3.8. I can't find the bolts for FWD application online, is there any place I can get em?
  2. Hey guys, I had my mechanic replaced the intake manifold gasket last March. Now I find a small oil leak again, it seems the LIM gasket has failed again. I suspect the torque spec wasn't correct and made the gasket fail... What's the correct torque for the intake manifold and the gasket? Mine is a LN3 3800, and I got Fel Pro gasket last time. What kind of gasket should I get this time? MAHLE or Fel pro?
  3. Hey guys I have the Bonneville SSE with the Teves Mk II ABS system. So I guess it's the same model on the Reattas or Jaguars. I am experiencing ABS issues, when I corner, the ABS light would come on, sometimes the brake pedal would "kick back" for half a second. The light comes on and disappears randomly. When I apply the brakes, I do hear that little hum and click sound. Brake fluid was changed last year to prevent failure of the system, but I think something has given up the ghost by now. What can be the problem? Accumulator? ABS ring? Sensor? Or the whole assembly?
  4. Well I actually have a '90 Bonneville SSE, so I think a Reatta transmission would probably preserve the "sport" feeling. I have the GX3 axle which is 3.33 final drive ratio.
  5. In need of a remanufactured/rebuilt GM 440T4 transmission with the 3.33 sport ratio. Most of these transmissions had slushy, economic ratios which doesn't fit my car. Mine is a 1990 so I need the hydraulic one, not the electronic-controlled one.
