The Ressurection of Daphne - a 1932 DL
Doozer replied to Taylormade's topic in Dodge & Dodge Brothers
I would be concerned that homesite may soak up water, and or, just deteriorate as you speed down the country roads in that beautiful car. How about a piece of 1/4 inch aluminum with 1â thick spacers as standoffs screwed to the plywood? -

How far from the plywood will the muffler be? -
I have no idea what the make of the car is. However I did find what I think is a little monkey with an askew cap on. Maybe...? Does anyone else see that or is it just the weed.

Looking great! Love the color. Nice job you are doing there.

Looking at the rear door handle in your photo. Looks to be more of a T Shape than Ajax. The door handle location on the pic of the Ajax shows the handle at approximately the apex of the rear fender. Handle in your photo looks much higher. Front fender nose look to be more vertically squared off in your pic but really hard to tell. I canât figure out the wheel in your pic. Looks like three concentric rings at hub area, reflections? Personally I donât believe thatâs an Ajax in your photo. That being said, knowing my track record, it probably is.

I purchased a 1926 Ajax in 1969. It was discovered in the original owners garage in Bridgeport Ct. In 1968 and bought by the person I bought it from the following year. The Dragone brothers wanted to buy it from me but this time I turned them down. They bought my Cadillac earlier. I drove it to High School my senior year, fun times. I still have it.

Oh my! Looks like Paulie my have gotten whacked again. Ad says that the actor is selling some of his memorabilia. Doesnât state that the car is part of that. Leave the Sally, buy a cannoli! -
