I recently purchased a Lorraine spotlight for my 37 Packard. This light is a bulb style rather than a sealed beam and is marked with the Packard crest. I am interested in the history and evolution of Lorraine products and am wondering if it is period correct. I see many of the Unity sealed beam lights out there and some even have the Packard nameplate on them. Were sealed beam lights common in 37? I would really prefer the style that has a mirror mounted but I believe those to be mostlty post-war.
Any info would be appreciated.
