  1. Hi,

I am helping a neighbor thin out a collection of pre-war parts.

We have about 70 headlamps, spotlights, running lights, tail lights and many more.  Please look at the following link:

  2. Hi everyone,

I am helping a neighbor clean out a 70 year pre-war auto part collection. I have started with lights and I have cataloged 70 different lights and pairs.  Some are common and some are unusual.  Everything is going up for sale soon.  I'd be interested in hearing comments/identification that anyone has on the different lights.

Please go to the following Google link to view all 70 Individual photos of each item:  https://photos.app.goo.gl/AkFCGhoTPc6YFavC6

Looking forward to hearing your comments.

    -Joe

  3. Hello everyone!  I'm new to the forum and to pre-war cars, but have owned many post-war cars and trucks, over the past 35 plus years.   I am helping my neighbor in Phoenix thin out his 70+  year collection of pre-war car parts and farm antiques.   I will likely need help identifying many parts when he can't.  The parts are mostly Model T, Model A, 1920's - 30's Buick, 1920's - 30's  Packard, 1920's -30's Graham, 1920's Lasalle and I know there are many other random odd and possibly rare parts. Though we are focusing on the pre-war parts first, he also has restored and owned many 50's - 60's Jaguar, Fiat, Plymouth and Corvair and we may later have some of those parts too.  So far, I have sorted through carburetors and have Identified and tagged 20 different models, such as Schebler, Zenith, Holley and Carter.   Next, I am gathering headlamps, lights, housings, lenses and so on.  This is going to be quite a task, but I am really looking forward to learning more about pre-war cars and hearing all of his stories behind each item.  I plan to post parts for sale here and maybe other similar sites and really hope to avoid Ebay.  Any advice that anyone can give on selling the pieces of this collection  would be greatly appreciated.   Please also inquire with your pre-war parts needs and I will try to respond with answers as soon as I can and plan to post many parts with photos in the near future.  I also set up an email address for this task:  70yearsoftreasures@gmail.com, as it may be easier for me to manage requests by email.   -Joe

Here are some of the lights.  Please let me know your interests, advice and comments.
