I’m preparing for a few winter projects on the 443 Phaeton. I have to replace the windshield as it is delaminating. While I have everything apart I want to properly finish (how it was originally) the lower windshield panel (sits above the cowl between the stanchions). I believe it should be woodgrained, that is how it is finished now. Can anyone confirm the proper finish for that part? Looking at pictures of current cars I see them painted as well as chromed but few, if none are woodgrained. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is there a way to "order" a catalog prior to attending the meet so I can identify all the vendors I would like to hit? I know most are in the same locations year after year but this is only my third year attending. I would like to get my head wrapped around where the vendors are I want to visit before I arrive. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
