Hi avgwarhawk bearing has been fitted the old one virtually fell out was so loose in the box new one is a nice tight fit had the car running and in gear on the lift and have driven it 5 miles and touch wood no oil leak so far will give it a better drive tomorrow but hopefully all good many thanks for your help 👍

Hi it’s not been fitted yet it’s booked in for the 19th of this month fingers crossed it works this time will update When it’s been fitted

Just looking at summit as the ebay seller is sold out and noticed all these have the same diameters but only the one has a retaining clip i was wondering if the others would seal 100% any thoughts or best to stick with what came out of yours

I can find it on ebay but it says buick century not special are they the same?

Do you think the front bearing (AM AN) could be the issue considering I replaced all the parts forward of it

Hi avgwarhawk i had the little rubber seal fitted to the gear change shaft there was no seal there so just pushed in very strange unfortunately the oil is now coming back out from the front of the gearbox 😢

Thanks it’s nearly 100 % spot on once I’ve got the oil leak and exhaust done

Excellent many thanks fitted new wheels and radial Tyres yesterday and having a new stainless exhaust fitted next week big money pit 😂

Hi sorry but I need your help again🙈 oil is now leaking from the gear change on the side would this be the correct part and is it something that can be done from outside the box thanks in advance 😉

Hi avgwarhawk update I picked up the car from the garage and drove it to it’s storage unit approx 7 miles I’ve had the car nearly a year now and only done 147 miles hoping the lockdown is over soon so I can take it for a good run 👍
