  3. Hi Kevin. i will get the close up pics next week. you got good eyes there ..! lol. when i get ready to rip the front seat to reupholster it.. i do remember you want it a set of pics from the rear section of the front seat. i will post it. no worries. what i do realized is that the front bottom seat is not correct that's why you see in the early pics when i got the car ..the upholstery in that seat is different , now i know is not from this car. is a square shape on the bottom frame , when it need to be round in the front corners and it' also an inch longer.. so i will have to do some work to remold it to fit in the box base,
  4. I was able to test the vacuum tank .. it works excellent ..! clean the gas tank.. it had some yellow powder inside from old gas i guess . power wash it and come out super clean!
  5. tomorrow will go to see the upholstery guy and bring him the seats to see if he can start working on them ..
  6. the body finally is resting on the frame .. and i need to take the fuel tank off now to get it down about 1/4 of inch . due to the banjo bolt coming out of it on top , still touching the edge of the bottom of the body , so i think there;s a liner or something on the top inside of the straps for the tanks so it will bring it down just a touch to clear that. that's a job for tomorrow. and test the steward tank to see if it will hold vacuum. and then ... ready to drive and see what it does..!! oil pressure shows a good 25 psi for now. and a lot of oil going on top of rockers. Enjoy the pics. Cheers Apolo.
  7. you can see the i plug off the chrome pipe for the exhaust heater .. sorry to say , but here inCA i don't think wee need that..
  8. Today i was able to pick some parts from the Nickel platting guy.
  9. here we go again .. to much sanding and preping..but is all good at the end...!
  10. Thank you Larry..! i was going to put a steal mash on it , i didn't know about the Gano unit ..! thanks on that. i definitely will use the Evaporust .. since i don't think i was able to get all the rust out from the head. i don't want to risk my Rad getting plug up. today i was getting ready for the frame ,but bad weather here in CA.. witch is rare.. didn't let me . I need to get this car running.. can't wait to see if it runs on the street like to try the clutch and brakes ..all since to be fine , but until you get it out you don;t know. But fist i need to finish the frame so i can rest the body on the new rubber mounts strips,, found the 2 rear originals still nailed to the body. soo .. patience.!.one step at a time.. Cheers .. Apolo
