  1. Gentlemen, I just bought a 1935 Buick Special 46C. It's a beautiful car. But I only have one set of keys and want to make a spare set. The local hardware store guys look at me with crossed eyes when I ask for a key blank for a car this old. Does anyone have any suggestions for finding key blanks for this car. Thanks in advance. John P.
  2. In March of 2019 I had a LoJack Vehicle Recovery System installed on my 1939 Cadillac LaSalle Coupe. The service was good. The technician came to my house and installed the system. I have now purchased a 1935 Buick Special 46C and wish to have another LoJack system installed on the car. That is where the problems start. Over the last three days I have left three messages with their sales department (listed on their website) and have not heard back. In addition I have talked to Customer Service three times and have been assured three times that an email has been sent to the sales manager asking him to contact me. Still no response. LoJack's poor customer/sales service does not breed confidence in their ability to quickly follow up if you report your car is stolen. Has anyone else had any experience with LoJack' sales or customer service? Do you have any recommendations for another Vehicle Recovery System? Thanks in advance for your help. John P.
  3. Not a bad idea. This is a convertible though. But I’ll give it a shot tomorrow. Thanks John P
  4. Yes. Please see attached. Is it possible the bars look clean the rumble seat in place? John P.
  5. I have just purchased a beautiful fully restored 1935 Buick Special 46C. I do have a few questions. In the rumble seat compartment there is a long cloth sleeve holding two long metal bars painted the same color as the car. What are these for? This car was restored over 10 years ago and there are a few cosmetic touch ups I will need to do where the paint is worn. Is there a good source for paint for 1935 Buicks? The color is said to be Raleigh Blue. Thanks in advance for your help. John Payne
  6. I am looking for a jack and tool kit for a 1939 Cadillac LaSalle Coupe. I have been unable to find a picture or a part number for the jack or tool kit that is standard for this car. Does anybody have info regarding this or can your direct me to a website that might help? John P. new member
