  1. Thank you, I feel so proud now, not good at this stuff
  2. Ridiculous amount of - - - - to get onto this website
  3. New clutch, very frustrating, pulled the Transmission when I found a washer in the Cleaning tub. Put it on the shaft in front of the throwout bearing. This took up the space in that area. When I put it into reverse, the shaft moves back which does not allow the transmission gears to be in reverse. I will hook up the drive shaft to see if it makes a difference. thanks for trying to help.🤠
  4. Transmission grinds when the car is running
  5. I’ve renewed the multi plates in my 1921 Dodge Touring. Also rebuilt the throw out bearing assembly, re and re the transmission. The changing of gears is fine when the vehicle is not running, when the vehicle is started and idling, at different RPM s . The transmission grinds at every position. With the clutch depressed or trying to change gears without the use of the clutch.I have 600 wt oil in the tranny. It is filled to the main shaft. Any experts out there that could share their experiences. getting desperate for some help.
  6. I stripped it right down to the clutches and throw out bearing. Everything returned back, and still the same result. I thought fixing some spots that needed to be upgraded would help. Will try to find the 1500 oil. Thanks again everyone. I appreciate the help.
  7. I have pulled the transmission, down to the throw out bearing, pressure plate, and clutches, everything seems ok. Any suggestions as to why grinding so bad and changing gears is impossible.
