  1. I need some help. I purchased a 1930 Ford Model A truck. It has been converted to 1938-1942 Ford hydraulic brakes. Here's a picture. This is the left rear. It's set up correctly except the wheel cylinder is upside down with the bleeder on the bottom. This is the right side backing plate on the left side of the axle. My question is how do I keep the correct cylinder orientation, larger cylinder facing larger front shoe. Yet flipping the wheel cylinder so the bleeder screw on the back is on top of the wheel cylinder. I've tried swapping wheel cylinder sides but the mounting bolts holes don't line up. Any suggestion suggestions or help appreciated. Gary
