I have googled up the wazoo but this is not my area of expertise and I haven't been finding anything that makes sense. I will try the cleaning solution but although it looks salvageable, it is weak feeling. I clicked on the link but did not see the strip but I assume that you are saying that this company can provide something similar. Thanks all!

We are restoring a 1968 Buick Lesabre convertible. The tack strip that holds the carpet to the plywood in the door is old and rusted and we would like to replace it. It is 39" long, 5/8" wide, and 1/8" thick. Any ideas where I could get such a thing? I am going to try to attach pictures
