Thanks to all of you . Looks like it's the pilot hole . I cleaned it out and upon inspection there's no thread. My gearbox sounds great in all fwd and reverse gears . I cleaned all the residue oils that where due to old leaking rocker cover gasket. I've seal the hole and good to go ..once again thanks to all ..appreciate it

Hi Guys, Was going some clean up underneath the 41 Coupe body and noticed oil weep out of this hole. Ive got no idea what it is or its purpose - Breather?? Bracket?? Manufacturers hole? Can anyone advise as I couldnt find it in the manual

That's also what I thought initially ...but I've seen build plates with just the "O"stamped on the plate and others with just the" K"...

Hi Guys, Ive decoded my build plate, but not sure what the stamped "O" and "K" refers to ....Im not convince its just OK stamp at the end of the line Can Anyone shed some light on it ?

Hi Guys, I only have this phot of my grandfathers car. He was a car enthusiast here in Australia. Im guessing its pre 1940 because of the head lights not incorporated on the front fenders May be a Mopar due to the single Windscreen (not s plit windshield like GM based cars?) and grill with horizontal louvers??? Not sure about the wipers operating from the bottom Not sure if it has suicide doors I cant make out the hood emblem either Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Guys Working on my thermostat and spring loaded valve body. I bolted it in and have coolant pouring out of the top one of the bolt head. looking inside the body I see a hole that the bolt passes by that the coolant is leaking from . What is that hole for and should it be Welsh plugged ........ any pictures or guidance would be great cause I cant find anything in the manuals.
