    Did the early flatheads in the 31 CM 6 have a water distribution tube. I would rather not remove the water pump and look for a new gasket if it doesn’t have a tube. If it does I want to replace it.

    Thanks for the help. Now that the intake and exhaust is off the right side of the engine has a sort of green tint to it. Is this what you are describing.I know it’s difficult to judge from a photo.

    I am rebuilding the engine in my 1931 Chrysler CM 6 . Does any one know the correct color for the engine block. It had the silver dome head which was painted silver . The engine is black but it has been rebuilt in the past and my not be original. I have seen many Chrysler’s with the green engines.
