  6. Mason’s Black over a Saddle Connolly leather interior. This aluminum bodied, coach built Bentley was a one of one example originally built for WWII Captain (and famous Bentley owner) R.G. McLeod. McLeod was a well-known Bentley owner, having previously served his country as the Supervising Engineer of tools and aircraft production during the war effort. An engineer by trade, it was not uncommon for McLeod to bring his own notes directly to the coachbuilder and he specified that H.J. Mulliner include the rarely seen “High Vision” glass roof panel over the front seats and considerably shortened the boot on his new 4½ Litre Mark VI “Light Weight” Saloon. This numbers matching example was imported to the U.S. in 1976 and was subjected to a thorough restoration in the 1980’s. Since then, excellent mechanical and cosmetic care has been applied as needed to maintain this exceptional motorcar. Accompanying documentation includes owner’s manual, service directory, service invoices going back to 1963, restoration photos, copy of original chassis data paper, original H.J. Mulliner instructions, registration book, import paperwork, jack, tools and more. Call (314)291-7000 or e-mail info@schmitt.com for more information. Price: $74,900.00
