  1. The 'chassis' number is on the Danish paperwork but we will need to find it on the vehicle to show our "DMV" that the paperwork is correct for this vehicle. We cannot register it on the engine number. Thanks
  2. We have a 1928 Pontiac that now requires registering with the UK authorities. We have the paperwork from Denmark where it lived from 1929. It has been stored for over 50 years. We need to find the serial number to check against the paperwork, can anyone tell us where to look. We found the body number 8240 stamped on the wood floor by the passenger seat. The chassis is thick with grease which has protected it, before we start to scrape it off we would like to have an idea where to start, if that is where it should be? Can anyone help please? Thanks, Jan
  3. We have a 1941 Buick which we are trying to keep original. We have a problem with the rear carb. It needs the throttle shaft, plates and screws. The numbers on it are 7-43A AA-1 382260 R7 Are these parts available? Do these parts from any other carb interchange? Can any other parts be made to fit? I have great faith that somebody out there will know the answers... Please help, Ted
