You're so right. I misunderstood when my MIL placed a sticky note on it that simply read, "whippet". That was a speculated guess on the automobile. So if that helps anyone...

This photograph was taken on the farm belonging to the father of my mother in law. This was on their farm near Hayti, South Dakota. Likely taken in the 20's. I believe those dogs are whippets, however, could be wrong. Any help in identifying this vehicle would be greatly appreciated.
