Eric, thank you for the insightful information. As soon as I opened the attachment, I had my answer. There is paint only, in the clock area, on the photo. This is also where I have the peeling paint, so I will repaint this area. Turbinator: If you go to Eric's attachment, you will see the "bubbly" finish, I was referring too. My guess, is it's a vinyl overlay. Thanks again folks, for your help.

My 65 has a black bubbly finish, around the gauge area. It has started to wear, in spots. Is this a stick on decal, or a type of paint finish? Searched on our Forum, and found nothing. Thanks.

I understand that tilt wheel was standard for 65. Mine does not have it. Is it possible that early production 65's did not come with it?
