I have a 28 coupe. My question is, what are the physical differences in olds flathead 6s from the 20s to the 40s era... if i decide to swap out my original motor to preserve it, will 215, 230, 238 etc be a direct bolt in or are there major differences between them? Thanks

Thanks... ill keep that in mind... dont know exactly what im gonna do yet, but i might just get this one to fire up so i know it runs, the try to find a later motor to swap out, so i dont run the risk of blowing it up

Thanks for the advice.. i do have the original owners manual that came with the car... it has all that info in it. And it only has one side mount, which i thought was kinda odd

Mainly lookin for a few parts. And perhaps see if its better to restore or leave it alone and drive it as is

Purchased this ride a couple months back. Bought it from a gentleman whos grandfather bought it brand new in 1928. Its been in a barn since 1970. Numbers match. Any info would be appreciated
