  1. It’s been a long time since we posted any kind of update but we ended up going with an F40 transmission sourced from a 2007 G6. We were originally going to try to pair that with the LN3 but we ran into issues trying to find a suitable flywheel. We ended up punting and switching over to the L67 we had already sourced. Also, the front end has been lowered too. I don’t have any pictures as I wasn’t working on the car that weekend and everything has since been torn apart, we will post some after it’s put back together. We actually had to alter the subframe geometry where the lower control arm radius rod connects to it. The subframe was basically cut around the mounting hole, bent inwards so the radius rod points up a bit more, and everything was re-welded. Lowering springs were also sourced and installed. We will post a few updates once we get the car rolling again and have a chance to evaluate our work. We’re still working out how we want to lower the rear, we don’t want to buy a new spring so the plan is to look into other options right now. I also recall someone asking about tires, we’ll likely be running Falken Azeris to start at least. We’ve had good luck with those on a previous car. We have two sets of 16” wheels from an Allante that we’re starting with as performance tires in 15” aren’t really available. I think we’re going to upgrade to 17” wheels down the road as that is a good price/performance trade off.
