This brass part was found in a drawer with a bunch of 1920s and 1930s parts for Packard, Bentley, Lincolnand others. Does anyone recognize it?

It isn't always as simple as replacing a bulb. The wires could be corroded and not work properly. And it definitely matters if the bulbs work as well. They cost money to replace. I'm wondering if they have been hooked to power and light up?

I bought this piece in a lot with several shifter knobs. Most of them are Vaseline/Uranium glass. This piece seems too big to be a shift knob. Just wondering if anyone recognizes it? It's about 4.5" across.
