Loved It...Recommend it highly as well as other articles written by this author. Earl also wrote a very good article about the FIRST AAA sanctioned Stock Car Race~~1939~~well researched and probably impossible to find elsewhere;;;;;Title is ....ROUNDY ROUND, The First...cataloged in Hemmings Motor News Articles as such....Special Interest Autos, (Mar, Apr 1971)~~~Took place at Langhorne in 1939~~~If you are a Car Fan it is a must READ....it will keep you on the edge of your seat or standing and cheering for your favorite Olds, Packard, Buick, Willys, Ford, Mrrcury or whatever when STOCK cars were actually raced......This was pre NASCAR and much more fun.
