  1. update: got a E041 code. did homework. turns up to be the cam sensor. I replaced that, and it's still going off. magnets? if so, how hard is the job to replace them if they removed themselves?
  2. thank you for the advice and looking
  3. anywhere where i could find those Riviera parts?
  4. I've since done service mode on my CRT and code E041 pops up as CURRENT was would this be? I looked on YouTube and it said possibly related to the camshaft and or voltage.
  5. where are the magnets located? let alone the interrupter?what all should I replace? my e041 codes are current.
  6. what are those codes? and what does it acheive when resetting them or stored, and what after that do I have to do to reset the codes?
  7. I have an '89 reatta. the nicest car I have ever owned. I did my research before hand and knew about the crt for this year. I figured being 29 years old it would have problems, but it controls mostly everything so if it were to go out its a vegetable basically. lately the engine control computer alarm has been going off A LOT. I sometimes want to punch it. and, there's horizontal lines that took up most half of the screen. HELP! I don't want to pay for a new one because I wouldn't know how to program it, I'd rather just pay to get it fixed. Also curuois about how to take the crt out in the first place, and how to rewire it and reinstall it. Out of another curiosity, has any '88-89 reatta owners swapped the faux wood Riviera dash finish for a reatta?
