  1. Well gentleman I got her started, the vehicle is positive grounded, I have it negative ground when i replace the battery good thing it didn't mess anything up as far as I can notice., I had to turn the battery around and re polarize the voltage regulator. As soon as I did that she turned right on. I change the plugs and wires while I had some stuff apart. Thank ya'll for all the input.
  2. I will check the spark plugs tomorrow and see if I'm getting fuel.
  3. Yes you are correct. Is like I'm not getting power inside the car.
  4. I have checked for spark and I'm getting spark. I have spray starting fluid on the carb and still no luck. I'm going to put some new plugs and wires tomorrow. What has me confused is that I'm not getting power to my accessories. Example the break light, the green blinking light on the dash that indicates that the E brake is in gauge. I have not checked the timing, I'm not sure how to check it
  5. I also checked this with a volt meter. Theres a wire coming from the starter to this ( relay?) And it has 6.22 volts aswell.
  6. Hello, I own a 1950 Chrysler Imperial. It's all original. I tried to start it a few days ago and it just turns over and doesn't start. I put a new 6v battery, thinking it was the battery and it's not. I check the voltage on the battery and it reads 6.22 volts , I check the starter and it's getting the same 6.22 volt. When the vehicle is in neutral and the E brake is on there is a green blinking light on the dash. Well this light is not on also when I press on the break pedal the break lights do not come on. Is like I'm not getting power to half the vehicle. Any ideas?
  7. Hello I own a 1950 imperial it's all original 6v system. I have a problem when I drive it for a few minutes 30 to 40 minutes and turn it off, it's hard for it to start again . Any ideas what it could be ? I was wondering if it could be the starter.
