  1. They appear to be 1955 Pontiac, all 1955 models used the same hood trim.
  2. They'll also fit 1951 Olds series 88-A as well.
  3. Fits 1949 & 1950 Olds 76 & 88 series cars.
  4. Crest blue car is the more desirable 88 series with a V8. Yellow car that's for sale is a 76 series Olds with a flathead 6 cylinder. Neat car but it's missing all the side trim trim as John S noted. This 2-door trim might be difficult to find today or even unobtanium. A pre-purchase rust inspection is certainly a requirement for one of these.
  5. Posting deleted by its author. If it sold hopefully the next owner can get the bad stuff sorted out including the 12 volt electricals.
  6. Top left (partial picture) is a 1958 GMC pickup, may be correct for other years as well.
  7. Top right 1955 Chevrolet, small one with no wings 1957 Studebaker, bottom is 1956 Plymouth.
  8. There are 18 GM Optikleen bottles currently for sale on Ebay, all with Buy it Now prices clearly posted for all to see. What's YOUR price? Why don't you just list it like everyone else?

    Grilles

The second (lower) grille is for a 1951-1952 Buick, a Buick expert will know exactly which model.
  10. Pontiac head used from 1937- 1949. Olds head used from 1937-1941.
  11. Has anyone else used this Seal-All to seal a cork gas tank float? I did on the advice of an older gentleman at the hardware store a few months ago. He thought it was great stuff. So far so good. Time will tell.
  12. All 1951-1952 Buick Super hoods are the same. All 1951-1952 Roadmaster hoods are the same. All 1951-1952 Special hoods are the same. Confirmed with Buick parts book and Hollander Interchange.
  13. RE: The 1956 DeSoto. I'd like to see the seller delete the pics of the windshield stainless, glovebox, clock & radio, door sill plate, Fireflite & Sportsman V8 scripts, & hubcap. Show pics of the important stuff like rocker panels, wheelwells, lower rear quarters and everything else that's covered with dark gray primer. A friend of mine is restoring an identical car. His was in MUCH better condition than this one when he got it. Restoring one of these in poor rusty (incomplete?) condition will be very expensive & time consuming......The interior alone is gonna cost a lot of money.
  14. Tough sell, I doubt there will be much interest in a base model 6 stick 1955 Plymouth at $6500. Finish is too far gone for polishing or waxing, it's time for an expensive repaint.
  15. Fits 1937-1938 Pontiac 6 & 8 cylinder cars.
  16. It is Mopar. NAPA Echlin catalog & numbers.
  17. Just perusing all the treasures available on the Not Mine Forums today, I'm looking at this 63 Chrysler Newport hardtop "project" car that needs cosmetics for $10K and closeby is a silver 67 Imperial convert offered at $14.5K. I'm not really a Mopar person but deciding between the two would be a no brainer for me.......I'd be riding off into the sunset driving that 440 with the top down enjoying the rest of the summer!
  18. A nice car for sure but it's still a black 4-door sedan. A Fireflite was the lower priced DeSoto model in 1960. I read on another site where 1960 DeSotos were marketed to compete with Olds & Pontiac. I doubt that a similar low mileage black Dynamic 88 or Catalina sedan would fetch anywhere near $39K.....This seller's overhyped marketing tactics (check out his recent 60 DeSoto you tube video) are a big turnoff for me, describing his sedan as MORE than a classic car and a WORLD CLASS NATIONAL TREASURE is just a bit toooooo much. BTW Same seller is also marketing a 1957 Imperial 4-door on Ebay for $49K.
  19. Considering all the work this car needs to be brought up to snuff appearance-wise he could knock another $10K off the asking price as far as I'm concerned.
  20. There was also a pink 54 Belvedere 4-door sedan for sale at Spring Carlisle a few years ago (maybe 2019). I can't recall if the top was black or white but it was parked in a prominent spot near the food court at the east end of the grandstand. I don't know if it sold or not and I don't recall the asking price. I'm always on the lookout for these as I owned two pink & white Belvedere sedans years ago, one was a stick and one was a PG. That attractive Santa Rosa Coral color just sets the car apart from all the rest.
  21. Fairly nice car in great colors with not quite right upholstery, and an expert could nitpick a few missing, incorrect and broken trim pieces as well as pitted chrome, dinged stainless trim and the hood fit is less than perfect. Shifter is not correct for the car. Sorry if I'm too critical but IMO a six cylinder 1954 Plymouth sedan priced at 15 grand should be a lot closer to perfection.
