  1. $400 it is all yours. Just sitting here under a tarp.
  2. For sale 1959-60 401 Nailhead $400. I was told it was rebuilt, with low miles and had a roller cam. Previous owner also stated it was a good running motor and I would be able to put it in my Wildcat and go. None of that was true. But I took a gamble and lost. As you can see the push rods and tappets have seen better days. I got excited about getting the Wildcat on the road and took somebodies word instead of inspecting it myself. Located in Killeen Texas.
  3. This is what I have: 1966 Buick Wildcat Custom with a bad 401 Nailhead. I have taken the motor and trans out and will be getting the turbo 400 rebuilt. I was able to buy a low mile rebuilt 401 Nailhead with block casting number 1185484 ('59-'60 Nailhead) hoping at best it would be a direct swap and at worst I could use the good parts to go into my '66 block. Is any of this possible? I have read that the cranks in some years are different and will not bolt to turbo 400s. I am trying to learn hard and fast about Buicks, but I need some help with this. Thanks, Duly
  4. Introducing myself before I start asking questions. I inherited my grandmothers 1966 Buick Wildcat Custom. Has a 401 Nailhead, 400 auto, and very original. Been sitting in a barn for over 30 years, so I have some work ahead of me. Thanks, Bryan
