  1. Thank you very much Michael! Sorry for the delay as I just saw this! We were able to rebuild the existing one and having a machine shop fabricate a new drive gear. Do you have an extra flywheel? Mine has 10 teeth that are chipped; 4 of them are pretty bad.
  2. I am restoring a 1922 Cleveland Model 41 sedan and in need of an oil pump. Can be a complete, working unit or parts. Also looking for the early history of this car. It was formerly in the Roaring Twenties Antique Car Museum in Hood, VA from 1983 to 2019. Before that, it was owned by the late W.A.C. “Bill” Petit from at least 1957 and at one point was in his museum at Natural Bridge, VA. He sold it to John Dudley of Roaring Twenties. It was taken off the road in 1928 and is extremely well preserved. Keeping the interior and exterior unchanged and concentrating on a mechanical restoration. Thank you! Bill Inge
  3. Thanks Jeff. I am very pleased with my purchases. I worked with DT Drysdale at WorldWide and will email him to have the new owner of the Peerless reach out to you.
  4. Thanks Terry. I live outside of Lynchburg and you are welcome to see it again anytime. Aside from a good mechanical servicing and new tires, I'm keeping it the way it is. It and the Stephens were my two favorite cars in the collection too. BTW, the Stephens also has the same style heat register in the back floorboard.
  5. The high bid on the Peerless was $4,000; not including buyer's premium. I bought the Chandler for $6,000, the Nash for $5,000 and the very rare Stephens for $4,700. That car originally cost $2,385 new and was the most expensive model ever offered. Roughly 20-23 Stephens still remain. I believe the 1925 Paige had been sold years earlier and was replaced with the Gray Dort touring. They still have more memorabilia and some hit and miss engines to sell at Auburn. Most of the tractors remain at the museum and will be sold online from there.
  6. Hi Jeff. I was the winning bidder on the Cleveland, the Chandler (which I believe is a 26, not a 25), the 1923 Stephens and the 1929 Nash Advanced Six. All four are coming back home to Virginia. The Cleveland was taken off the road in 1928 and was formerly in the Bill Pettit collection at Pettit's Motoring Memories Museum in Natural Bridge, VA. He owned the car as far back as 1957. We went to Auburn two weeks ago to preview all the cars. Didn't stay for the auction as everything I was interested in buying was online. Martha and her dad were curators of the museum for an amazing 52 years! While it was out in the middle of nowhere, it was an incredible collection of mostly prewar cars. Do you know who bought the 1929 Peerless?
