  3. Mario, welcome to the forum. whatever you decide, do your research, have a plan and take it one step at a time and have fun . These are very complex cars. That said, $30-40k would get you a nice riv that you could enjoy immediately. Life is short. Best of luck and keep posting your progress. Brian

  7. Correct, they should open with the key on or off, car running or not. They should close when the light switch is pushed in to turn off the lights, *when the key is on* If you happen to shut the car off with the lights on, they will/should close the next time the key is turned on. Hope this helps Brian
  8. He’s got a 63 with a dynaflow, I’m not positive, but I’d bet they are different than the 64 st 400 lines Ed ordered. Call them directly and confirm for a 63 👍
  9. Had the riv on the lift and could actually see the rocker moldings 😁
  10. Rivnik, I did mine last winter, this was my process. I stripped them completely, straightened any dings, sanded the top face of the ribs all the way to 2000 grit to make the polishing easier. Polished to a mirror shine with a wheel mounted in my cordless drill and Mother’s aluminum polish. Cleaned, taped with fine line, used a self etch primer and paint. As turbinator stated, I pulled the tape when still wet. They were a lot of work and turned out beautiful. That said, your correct, they do face downward and you don’t see them that much. Haha. But I know they’re right and kept me busy last winter 😁 good luck and have fun, hope this helps. Brian
  11. Thanks Tom, I couldn’t help but stop and grab the picture under the lights. 😎
  12. When your walking to the car and have to stop and take a picture. ✨😁✨ you know you all have done it, haha
  13. I used an oil finish on mine. No clear, I hit them with some feed and wax once or twice a year. Still need to get them striped.

  16. I run 215/75/15 on my 65. Generally considered close to original size. Hope that helps Brian
