  2. Hello my fellow Packard restorers. If known....I would sure like to hear of a biz that sells Packard piston rings for a 1933 V12 engine that has 87mm diameter pistons. Thank you....Ken

  4. Lee H....thank you for that positive and VERY helpful information. I will be following up on that tomorrow without fail. Best Regards...Ken
  5. Have a 1927 Pierce Model 80. The point's spring is broken and it seems to be rather unique. We think we can still use the point arm if we had a spring that would work. Sooo...we would be delighted to buy this set..or just spring,,, if it is out there. The label of the distributor was removed so we don't have that fact either. Would like to buy, or, have references if the knowledge is out there. Thank you...Ken

  7. Trying to find Hydems to cover wood bows used on old convertible tops...I came across this lot of large Hydems which I have never found before. Yes...there are lots of small ones out there...but these biggies ...never. Going to share them out until gone. I think pretty cheap.
  8. Have a 1915 Metz Model 22 coupe with turtle back. The turtleback lid has witness impressions and holes in it...which I think....might have been a spare tire carrier. Anyone seen this carrier...either luggage or spare tire ? Would like to know what it looks like...or...one for sale ?? Thanks...Ken
  9. Fantastic.........wow.......NEAT. !!! Reenactment is a bit of a debating point since the road is dirt...the pump is fastened in concrete and ancient...and hose and nozzle look fresh and old style. And the photo is old. However....congrats for nailing this identity. Thank you.
  10. Sister has friend who found this picture in old box of pixs. Neat Gas pump too. I am guessing somewhere in the 0? dates..but could also be a bit later. Any guesses ???
  11. Here's a pix of the 1934 Dash Ashtray that I am looking... for with measurements. Anything tucked away ? Cheers...Ken
  12. Know this is late...but Andy Bernbaum Auto Parts....617-244-1118 ...had my 31 rear seal complete. Might have yours.

  16. Rumor...I was told that a gentleman member,,, who collects Packards,,, also had parts for Chrysler coups and had LOTS of body parts. Just trying to see if he reads the forums. I know...a bit obtuse...but worth a try. I will put it into the Chrysler section too. Cheers...Ken

  19. Thank you gentlemen....the dialogue is interesting indeed. Believe me....if I knew of someone who had the top...I would spend the day with calipers and measuring tape ..FOR SURE !! Finding that person who would loan to me....nay...even rent to me....their beat up old top ...to copy...is the chore. If I cannot buy it...then copy it --I would. Do not have an interest in selling them...just simple restoration thereof. Problem is...I just have no resources to find that magical loan-to-me person. Regards...Ken
  20. Thank you for the reply...naturally disappointed....I could consider making one from scratch if I could find the blueprints for it....I wonder where I could look ?? Any ideas ? Thanks...Ken
  21. WTB...convertible top for 1931 Chrysler Six Roadster. Just the frame or complete..whatever. Anything available ?
  22. Finally saw this answer today. Thank you. Unfortunately, we have already taken it apart by using bully methods ..of which...I am not proud of. With the post in November, and no answer for weeks, we just assumed that we were on our own. We will now rebuild it. Thanks again....Ken
  23. Attached...please see the latch I am referring to. Would like to see the ones you make. Thanks for the response.
  24. Help Please. Trying to disassemble a 1934 Packard FRONT Bumper... but... do NOT know the construction of the ends ...or..how to disassemble them. Those spring ends are very formidable. Any literature..or experience...or knowledge...would be of great help. Thank You....Ken
