I agree with Barney. I just sold two (2) Reatta's in past 6 weeks, one being a 1990 convertible - white on white with a claret interior and 24,200 miles on the odo needing the headlights and power antenna fixed. The other a 1989 blue hardtop with 84k miles needing the A/C sorted out. There is no market for these cars other than with enthusiasts. Those are the folks who in most cases can do the work themselves. Trust me when i say this - they are not paying top dollar as they know the costs to keep them running. My vice is a 2011 BMW GT 535 x drive with 146k miles. Some of my service bills will make your eyes water. ?

It presently has 83882 miles. He passed away 8/17. My brother was eccentric and this car matched his personality. While I appreciate this Reatta coupe, my driveway and garage are full of other toys. I can’t give this great car the love it deserves. It’s time to find it a home where it will be loved. This car has always been garaged and never driven in the winter. It is rust fee. I will tell you one thing, I would not be afraid to take this on a trip or use it as a daily driver.

This car was not sold to the highest bidder, it was sold to an individual who understood and appreciated what they were buying. A little time, patience, and money will be needed to get it back up to speed.

Ronnie: The new owner mentioned he found it on Craigslist, where I also had it listed. I can tell you he knows a lot about Reatta's. You can't glean that knowledge anywhere but here. My brother also had an '89 which I'll post this weekend. I knew little or nothing about the Reatta until I started participating on this website within the last month. The knowledge base here is immense and greatly appreciated by this noob.
