  1. Ok so I have confirmed the wheels are Chevrolet. Did Chevy have the same size grease cap as db? Maybe it's just a fluke I have Chevy hubs, with db caps but take the same bearings as db hubs???
  2. Thanks everyone for the help. The timken 2788 that I need and it's race are available on Amazon for a good price. Now, does anyone know what I have? I'm confused as I'm told the six lug hub is not Dodge brothers, but they take the same bearings?
  3. Sorry, after putting my glasses on the bearing # is actually 2788, not 8788. Whew I was getting nervous as I couldn't find a single thing on a timken 8788. Ok cool deal. So does anyone know what I have here axle and hub wise? So is it a Chevy like mentioned above since they're six lug hubs? Thanks.
  4. Ok guys, new problem. I need wheel bearings, I soaked them in gas and one fell apart on me. It's the inner one, timken 8788 and I see zero online. The outer ones are timken 1751 and they seem ok. Anyone know a cross reference for the inner one, the 8788? I know I could maybe match one up at Napa or something, but I live far out of town and would like to order online. Thanks!
  5. Sorry keiser 31, got home late town was a zoo. I'll get some more pics tomorrow. Can anyone tell me more about these felt or fiber seals? Are they hard to come by? I don't see why I couldn't just drive a modern seal in there, a decent parts guy and a caliper should be all that's needed. If I'm way off base with this please tell me, I'm curious why it wouldn't work. Thanks guys!
  6. The one grease cap has db on it, I'll get a pic
  7. It has 15 inch car rims, six holes. The tires are off a pickup, newer Kelly's
  8. Here's some pics. They do have cone roller bearings and not ball bearings
