  1. This is an Original Pair Of Model A Ford Rear Bumper Brackets. They are correct for 1928-29 Tudor Sedans and Fordors except the Slant Window. The Slant Window used a different Bracket. They are in really good condition. The metal is in great condition. All can be seen in the pics. The pics show the condition of the Brackets very well. If you have any questions or need more pics just send me an email. $195. OBO. Plus $30. flat rate shipping in US only.
  2. Do you have one for a 1931 model a Tudor sedan?
  3. Good rails and cross members for sale. Front horns and rear spring crossmember not included. Do you have to extend your frame for a V8 project? Splice in what you need. No rust! Buyer responsible for transport. All for $75. OBO Located Long Island, N.Y. 11741 pics on request
  4. Suicide rear spring setup 1929 Ford Tudor sedan with V8 engine My rear 10 leaf spring set measures 41" from eye to eye. I am told I should allow 3" on each side to compress the spring set. Plus the shackles are 1-1/2" each. I am trying to set up a bare axle tube for perches. my calculations: 41" springs eye to eye 6" Spring compression 3" shackles 50" total perch eye to perch eye centers please advise thx.
  5. So the guy gave me a set of leaf springs with the purchase of my 1929 Tudor sedan frame. 10 leafs??? This thing will support my mother in law! How many leaf's are suggested for a Tudor sedan with a 57 nailhead?
  6. Mine is a R10B-1R. My research leads me to believe the R10B-1G has the same case.
  7. I have a 1941 Studebaker - R10 Borg Warner Overdrive set up in my torque tube on my 1935 Chevy. Driving on the highway with 4:11 gears and a 83 year old 207 engine was not an option. I use it only after 3rd gear and it reduces my rpm's by 30%. I use a switch on my clutch pedal to disengage the o/d's electric so I cannot back up in overdrive. It took quite some time to engineer and install the unit myself in a spare rear end and torque tube. Not for the weak hearted but highly recommended. Anyone with questions or wanting to tackle this themselves, I would share advise/knowledge from my experience. I am still in search of a spare o/d housing R10B-1G or R10B-1R if anyone knows of one.
  8. Still searching for a good R10B-1G or R10B-1R overdrive housing or whole unit. Probably attached to a T86 transmission 1940's Nash, Rambler, Studebaker, etc.
  9. R10B-1R or R10B-1G housing needed probably out of a 41ish Studebaker or Nash Rambler or off of a T86 tranny
  10. Thanks, I will call him Monday. I used his wiring diagram and love it!
  11. R10B-1R or R10B-1G I need a housing but a complete unit will work A shop in Washington State cracked my housing at the shift pin. We welded it but it's dripping. Need another. Please help
