  1. In our state, use and land are grandfathered not owner. Therefore new owner could continue as junkyard.

  7. Agree with Bob and Steve, 287 to 84e - Newburgh bridge. You will have to ignore GPS to do this. Made the trip many times, including with a car trailer, this is best route.
  8. Wife an I are planning to attend. We have gone before and thoroughly enjoyed. Suggest taking portable canvas folding chair. Also, if traveling from the east avoid route 20 in Brimfield as it is flea market week. Enjoy !
  9. I have bought several rim spreaders at flea markets. The dealers have no idea what they are ! 10 - 20$ tops.
  10. - 13 at our house in Massachusetts this morning. I vividly remember when on days like this my biggest worry was " will my car start ?". Now I go into garage push starter button, activate heated steering wheel, activate heated seat, and away I go.
  11. All the employees are, evidently, highly skilled ( think well paid ) specialists. Car restoration involves a lot of grunt work requiring minimal skills. As long as you are using skilled labor for the grunt work the numbers $$$ will not work.
  12. I do not disagree with anyone. However, same room was $ 100 day less last year. Also, by comparison I have a ( much nicer) room booked at the Deerborn Inn during the Old Car Festival @ $215 per night.
  13. Just checked Marriott Courtyard, where we have stayed for many years, rates for October swap meet. $450.00 per night. Same room is $ 215.00 tonight. Won't be staying there and reconsidering going.
