I have a friend who came across a distributor lead wire from Shurhit DL23 which is approximately 10 inches in length. Does anyone know of its application? Thank you.

I have been in the hobby for over thirty (30) years working on Buick straight 8 engines. We own several pre-war and post-war straight 8 Buicks and have used the torque wrench specs provided. My friend who has four (4) 1936 Buicks; including an original 1936 Buick Century that was his grandfather's bought new has also used the torque wrench specs on his 1936 Buicks. We do not search 'the net' nor make uneducated comments when the materials provided are from actual mechanical & engineering documents regarding these Buick engines. We have a library of books, manuals, bulletins, etc. in our collection and have utilized them over the decades.

Please read the partial attached article that I wrote for the Torque Tube II magazine. These 6-Volt Optima batteries have lasted well over 15 years.

Searching for a good used or NOS stainless trim piece for a 1951 Buick Super Riv HT on the passenger side door (RH) in the center of the door curving downwards. Trim piece only fits on a 2Dr Super or 2Dr Roadmaster, not a Special.

I replaced the Coker tubeless bias ply white wall tires on my 1951 Buick just a few short years ago and the difference was night and day. The steering, handling, and overall driving experience was greatly improved with the new wide white wall tubeless radial tires from American Classic Tires. I am now planning on replacing the existing white wall bias ply JC Penny tires on my 1938 Buick.

Ordered parts and received parts from CARS, Inc. for over twenty (20) years with almost no problems or issues. I had one (1) problem a few years ago regarding a front rubber floor mat; the item was returned with a return label created and sent from CARS to be returned and I was refunded. Recently, over the past several months, most American small businesses and shipping companies are having labor and staffing issues. My mother always said to me, 'all good things come to those that wait.'
