I agree.... seems priced right for progress/condition if as described... yes, need to see doors fenders trunk... bumpers ?.... nice project for someone..... had I not just completed my 53 4 door, I would be driving to have a look-see....

do you have a bore scope to look inside the tube when installed in the block ? maybe see what's going on at the rear...... just thinkin...

thanks 55er.. they were in the barn.... very nice shape... very minor crease in each one.... should be an easy fix..... close to Hershey if anyone is interested... can deliver to hershey.

yes,..... had I gone the 'make your own' route, I also would have gone a few thousand undersize also...

I now have 3 transmissions.... 1 original.. needs disassembled and cleaned... tailcone bushing disintegrated..... 1 complete and in carcurrently... and 1 almost complete spare for future rebuild.... so I'm sure the tool I 1334 will be put to good use..... thanks guys

hi bloo, just found and ordered it... probably just as well.... machining 1 from my guy would take longer.... thinking I would like to have this completed for ETC September meet.

yes, thank you..... buick series 40 is the same, as buick supplied all syncromesh for pontiac.... I will try to contact them..... John

not quite sure on your automatic bellhousing, but my standard, the downpipe bracket bolts to 3rd hole, not 2nd where I'm holding it....

mark. . looks like your wires are off one position.... pull your #4 wire out of the distributor..... leave disconnected..... pull #1 wire and install.... next, #6, put in #1 hole... move each wire one hole... #4 will be your last wire.... reset distributor to correct position with a timing light.... should correct your misalignment..
