  1. The biggest issue is not what's missing, it's what's in the car. I sure can't take a look at the car from half way around the world and decide if it's any good. I can only trust the man and have faith that what he said is working, works.
  2. Shipping parts to a storage in New Jersey from anywhere in the US is pretty cheap. Cheaper than shipping them to Europe. Shipping a car from anywhere in the US to New Jersey is not cheap, especially in this case from Utah, again, about 3500km. Getting the car to NJ would cost me over $2000. Shipping overseas is $1200. The port in Croatia charges about $500 for discharging the car and doing the paperwork. I would pay at least $2000 of import charges, and another $1000 for some licence plates. So, I'm trying to save money by buying a car that's close to NJ, like I did with my '69. If I lived in the US, I would go buy the car myself and drive it off into the sunset.
  3. https://westmd.craigslist.org/cto/d/buick-riviera-gs/6229458375.html Get it while you can. I would buy it myself if it wasn't 3500km away from New Jersey...
  4. I offered him $3000 for the Riviera. He answeres: "Which one?" I answer: "The 1966" He goes:"I have 3 1966's" Then I told him to sell me the cheapest one he has, but he wasn't aswering anymore.

  6. Turns out, there actually is someone who chrome plates bumpers over here, and the price is €2000 per bumper, which is just a little over $2000 per bumper. And of course I gotta do both bumpers. And since my car sleeps outside, I don't want another idiot denting my €2000 bumper. I think I'll just drive a rat Riv.
  7. That's correct. Paid like $300 for shipping the front disc kit the other day. Almost what they're worth themselves. I've got to move over there!
  8. No, you're not missing anything. I was very interested in the movie, because of the title obviously, and 5 minutes into it, I had to give up. I am from Croatia, and it is a Croatian movie. We just can not make a good film that's all.
  9. Oh no, trust me, Two lane blacktop is a work of art, this Croatian sh*t is just depressing.
  10. That's right. I have messaged a few people, but I think most of the ads on internet are old and the cars are sold. Though I need it to look not that great, because the customs go crazy over here. They charge more than what you paid for the car itself.
  11. I am located in Croatia, Europe. My budget is around $3500. I don't worry about mechanics, they are cheap over here. I just missed a great Riviera on eBay the other day.
  12. Hi, I am looking for a 1966/1967 Buick Riviera. (project car) If anyone knows where I can find one, please let me know. Thanks
  13. Hi, do you maybe have the rear bumper?
  14. Gave it a little paint for summer. But now some idiot dented my rear bumper, and no one here in Croatia can get it fixed. The car survived in the US for almost 50 years, and as soon as it came here, things started going south. Do you maybe know where I could find another one? Thanks!
  15. Here's my '69 that just got to Croatia from New York.
  16. Hi, thanks for your reply. I'm going to buy the mustang II rack and try to install it, I'll let you know how it works out.
  17. Hi John, thanks for the reply. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I would like to put a steering rack in it, so I need to know which one I can use. Thanks
  18. Hi, I am new to the forum, and I just got my 1969 Buick Riviera shipped to Europe. I need a new steering column, as this one is all ripped. Can anyone please tell me what replacement part I can use, except for the original one, as the original parts are really hard to find, and getting everything to Europe is even harder. Thanks a lot. Ana
