  4. Sorry to say we are putting the 1930 Peerless Six 61A up sale. Please see the post in the AACA Cars For Sale forum.
  5. Nice example of a 1930 Peerless for sale. Easily return to driver or add it to your collection. Good body, good glass, engine turns over by hand. Engine has compression and spark. Rebuilt starter, rebuilt generator, appears to have new fuel tank. Original Stromberg UX-2 carburetor and Zenith universal carburetor with adapter. Complete new wiring harness still in box. Car is located in Fountain Hills AZ. Ask about delivery. Asking $7500. Contact L.A. Marshall (602) 803-5757
  6. Thanks for your response Jeff. My question was about the bell shape on the side of the distributor. The manual refers to this version of the Shaler ElectroLock as the "round job" and was apparently only used in 1929 and 1930. I posted some pictures of the car on the new Peerless Owner Department topic. This is a wonderful resource,
  7. My father and I picked up a 1930 Peerless Six-61A at the November 2016 Good Guys show in Scottsdale AZ (see post #17 above). It came from Springfield,Missouri based on the windshield stickers dated 1952. We hope to fire up the engine soon. The car seems to be in remarkable shape given it's age. We are looking for a replacement carb since the original Stromberg UX-2 is not repairable.
  8. Found the answer, it's a Shaler Electrolock.
  9. Hello All, My father and I acquired a 1930 Peerless Six-61A and after many searches have yet to identify the "capsule" on the side of the Delco Remy 631F distributor. It seems it has to be removed to change the condenser. I don't want to damage it so any guidance is much appreciated. Please see picture. Thank you!
