  1. If you run a five speed 2.2 TII SMEC your idle will be 800rpm instead of 900. A 2.5 TI SMEC will run poorly. The cals differ in spark and fuel curves between 2.2 and 2.5. You can socket any turbo SMEC and burn a custom cal to an EPROM to install in the socket. There is a lot of information on the subject here: http://www.boostbutton.com/turbonator_wiki/doku.php A Rob Lloyd did great things with code for 2.2 and 2.5 turbo engines. He was nice enough to make it all open source. All you need to do is read, buy a burner and a solder iron. http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?85-ECU-Code-Repository At the link directly above, you'll find the Boost Button stage cals. There is a Stage II SMEC cal for the 2.2 auto. I'm running that in my TC. It works well in a stock car with the stock turbo, exhaust etc. Stages III and beyond require upgrades to the fuel system, MAP sensor etc.
  2. I became desperate for a turn signal assembly for my TC and bought one form Wholesale car parts of Fresno. This turned out to be a mistake and has culminated in the seller leaving me a voicemail full of four letter words. Avoid if you can. WARNING THE LINKED VIDEO CONTAINS STRONG LANGUAGE. IMG_0880.m4v
  3. Worn differential bearings will cause a persistant leak at the axle seal, especially while driving. I just learned this the hard way on my a413 equipped 1989 Dodge Spirit. There is a fix though. Tekpack makes an axle stabilizer that is basically a bearing and seal that replace the current axle seal. The bearing keeps the axle in alignment with the seal at all times, eliminating any chance that the axle will lose contact with the seal surface. https://www.transmissionpartsusa.com/Chrysler_FWD_axle_stabalizer_w_bearing_and_seal_p/609-032125lrb.htm
  4. I got my TC w/ these wheels. (16x8) A bit too wide, because they have rubbed through the splash shield, but good otherwise.
  5. I have my injectors serviced here: http://www.mrinjector.us
  6. There's nothing wrong with having spare parts available on he shelf.
  7. Don't bash the 8 valve engines. Reeves is doing 9's with only 8 valves.
  8. I was referred to this forum by a friend who has a few TC's. I'm looking for a left front turn signal assembly. The one that goes in the front bumper, facing forward.
  9. I need a left front turn signal. The one that faces forward in the front bumper.
