  1. That is definitely a factory Highlander interior. I believe the Highlander was an interior option rather than a model, although my '48 Windsor Highlander had "Highlander" script on the dash, as seen in this photo. (Sorry for the poor quality -- taken off the internet.)
  2. I think it's not a Newport because it's not a hardtop. It's a Windsor coupe.
  3. Haha -- that's the one I was talking about. I didn't even know about the Roadmaster!
  4. Hey Brooklyn, I'm pretty sure I found a picture of your car! 😁
  5. You car looks fabulous -- with or without the decorations!
  6. Thanks, Keith. I was thinking of posting that pic on the "Winter Buick" thread just to be a smart ass, but I thought better of it!
  7. I had my '41 out today. Not too many falling leaves in San Francisco, but our neighbor's Ginko tree puts down a nice golden carpet every year a this time. And I decided to ride out to the RC flying field in style a few weeks ago. This is actually a small private airfield where they allow us to fly RC as long as we stay out of the way of the 1:1 scale jobs!
  8. George, this rig has got your name all over it! 😁 You can hang your PA birdcage in it!
  9. I love the name "Sedambulance!" I once owned a '48 Windsor 4-door and learned quite a bit about MoPar vehicles, but I never learned about the Sedambulance. Thank you to all for this very interesting commentary.
  10. Okay, is that an Opel that counts as a Buick?
  11. You can't get anything by "eagle eye" Lamar! 😁 Here's an example where it's a little harder to tell:
  12. Stunning car, and a great series of really good photos if you click on the eBay listing.
  13. Matt, I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing a rough patch. I'm sending you a PM with some thoughts. Neil
  14. Just my experience, but I have been able to reach Doug Seybold by phone every time I've tried (probably a total of four times). Don't be discouraged.
  15. Wow -- that degree of access to the tranny sure makes things easier. I'm about to embark on a transmission removal project on my '41 Buick, and it couldn't be more different. No removable panels at all in the floor, and then of course the torque tube to boot.
  16. Of course -- the sentry in "The Day The Earth Stood Still" -- how could I forget? 😁
  17. And while we're at it, who the heck is Stuart Whitman?
  18. Haha -- you are a very bad boy! At least I'm assured that I wasn't missing something obvious. I had to look very closely because there's usually a Buick in there somewhere!
