  1. Here’s the two Elgin dash clocks that I have.  The one with the white face is a 1926 and the one with the black face is a 1927 (dates based on elginnumbers.com website).  Both run.  To recover my money I would take $125 for the pair.  Let me know if you’re interested.  I could only attach 3 pictures due to the size limits.  I will post again with pictures of the back with the covers removed.  Thanks.IMG_1335.jpeg.1c1acc8610058c59e389bd7647f3c248.jpegIMG_1336.jpeg.4a57b3fae7a1dabb6b01fd7dc5a622f1.jpegIMG_1337.jpeg.13d8d67029750f40738a780b1f6cdb16.jpeg

  2. I have two Elgin long stem dash clocks, which both work.  I am traveling and will touch base with you after the 1st of the year.  I purchased both of them off of eBay because I own a 1920 Elgin automobile.  If I recall correctly, I think the one clock is a ‘26 and the other a ‘28.  Thanks.

  3. I wasn’t thinking…. I should have included the measurements when I posted it.  It is 19 1/8 tall and 19 5/8 wide.  I got to believe that it is early 20’s given the last patented date says June 8, 1920 with others pending.  I got this when I had purchased a 21 REO.

I would consider a trade for another interesting item from the early 20’s.  Thanks.

  4. FOR SALE a Winterfront to place on your radiator for winter driving.  I don’t know of anyone really driving their cars in the dead of winter, but if you do this looks much better than a piece of cardboard on your radiator.  I personally don’t like the look of it on the front of a car, but someone else may like it (to each his own).  $100 plus the cost of shipping.  I may consider a trade for another interesting piece.  Thanks.

  5. I am looking for points for an engine made by Falls Motor Corporation of Sheboygan Falls WI.  Falls made motors for several automotive manufacturers.  My specific need is for a ‘20 Elgin Touring Car.  I’m attaching a few pictures of the points that I am looking for.  The part that seems to be different from anything that I can find online is the way the spring connects.  There are two post, one for the pivot point and one for the spring to clip onto.  Thanks for any help.

  6. I had a 22 Overland model 4 (pictured below).  Wooden spokes is correct for the year.  The WOKR is a great club and can be helpful.  If you inquire on the club website you will most likely be ask to join before anyone shares much information.  Best of luck.IMG_0006.jpeg.49161c0d4c0a6cde606561a3a02fb647.jpegIMG_1139.jpeg.231b6b9ca376c60a6d0a7eb839a9fb8d.jpeg
