  1. I was looking a little closer at the answer that was given by ed and the head I was referring to wasn't the thermostat manifold it was the manifold the exhausts bolts to and like I said when I was bolting the power steering bracket on is when I discovered water coming from one of the bolt holes and where can I purchase new vent Windows or have old ones rebuilt any info would be helpful thankyou Rick.
  2. Thanks for the info that puts me seas when I got the car from Arizona the heads were already on the car all tricked to spec. I checked but the guy head the open holes carving the wrong way so I didn't want to take it back apart so I knocked out the soft plugs the manifold which the thermostat go's in and little by little I put plugs in the other holes as soon as I get the car back from paint I will post pictures again thanks for the info I'm sure I'll need more thank you Rick
  3. Quick question I purchased a 63 riveria off ebay the car had been sitting for around a year after they got it back from a Mexican that lost his shop it was their for a blown head gasket the Mexican told the car owner that the only thing that was left to do was install carb, rapper cover, and that is how I got it first thing I notice was the heads were instead backward the soft plug holes were pointing toward firewall so not a really big deal I left it that way and was able to put plugs in and knock other out so got car running let it run for about a hour when installing power steering pump I had to remove a manifold bolt for the bracket and water started coming out bolt hole for manifold is this normal or am I going to have to tear it back down any advice would be very helpful my painter was over rush in me to get it run in so he could paint it so I should be getting it back later this week I live in Everett WA and pal.
