  1. This crank handle (NFS) has been under the seat of my '33 Rockne for a minimum of the 61 years I've been able to trace it; with no reason to believe it was replaced in the prior 25 years. It looks easy enough to reproduce from a length of 2cm stock. Thank you Brad and Tinindian will ask Studebaker archive for help. Maybe they have a blueprint of it to make a repro from. THX for you help!
  2. What brand are the Grease Gun in a 33 Rockne tool bag? Steward warner? What ### ? Whats the correct tip for a 33 to chose? THANK YOU ! Joe
  3. What brand are the 3 Wrenches in a 33 Rockne (or Studebaker) tool bag? Joe
  4. I am curious is it possible to find a Engine Crank Handle for my 33 Rockne? Are these handles interchangeable for different models/ cars or do i have to look for a very special one? Thank you Joe
  5. Thank you. Looks good to me. Pls. PM me your Paypal Thank you Joe
  6. If it's same size like on the pict compared to a hammer i am interessted!
  7. Happy New Year! 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11 already found. Who have the other Tools and a old used toolbag for sale? Thank you for looking in your oily tool box Joe
  8. yeah, it's a PGB-W transmission with H-Servo and aluminium tail housing. Most guys saying in the car belongs a R-Servo Steel tail housing C6 but this is wrong. You can see the de-tunig in using a aluminium tail shaft too due lack of torque in the GT-E
  9. 1. i have seen VINs on heads or on blocks or booth or nothing... 2. GT-E was nerver offered as "Muscle" but as Luxury Coupe. That's why it wasn't a popular drag racing car these days. It's much heavier than a Mustang or Fairlane. 3. The intake is a aluminum PI intake, same as on a GT500. Carburator only 600cfm but makes good torque. Nice upgrade is a 68 735cfm Carburator from a 428CJ and swap the exhaust manifolds into the 428CJ as well. Just add 2.5" Exhaust pipes and the GT-E flyes! ( and looks nearlystock )
  10. The 427 hydraulic SO were cast in badges as the Heads. Also the carburators mostly have the same date code. I am from germany and was able to find 3 Sets of J heads over the Years, all with same date! It's not easy, but still possible with some patience. Also you can find Blocks and Carburators. Since not all Blocks have the VIN in it, nobody can for sure tell you these Engine belongs to the Car. Big Problem. In my opinion the special GT-E C6 is the hardest part to catch if it's needed. Nearly hard to find is the Distributor. For all engine parts the FE = fuckin expensive it's word, if it's for the 427 you can double or triple the price. The offered car i know in person, drove it, it's one of the most original GT-Es i ever saw. But it have a lot of "Patina". Paint is bad same as Leather Seats. Dry rott. There are two GT-E Gurus nearby the Seller, they can maybe inspect the car for you. Both helped me to buy my two GT-Es Contact via PM request. I can do it too, but not before April 19. Maybe the car was visited by a Guru before and a report is available. And remember, the 427 Hydraulic is detuned and is not that legendary tire smoking engine as a Med or High Riser. GT-E is a luxury coupe and not a ready to race R-Code Fairlane! These Cars are very powerful but silent cats. I am more the Brougham Steam Boat guy, the GT-E have these feeling of luxury, it have a lot of sound deadener inside, real Leather seats, very nice to drive, smooth and enough power - i love it.
  11. Yes, Headlights are wrong. The Brackets and the spherical bracket with the 4 rivets and the big bolt in the middle are original. In older times someone changed the Buckets, lens, reflector only. My brackets are chromed, maybe it's a deluxe option also
  12. Brad, the 32 Brackte for Headlights are totally different in shape compared to 33. So the rod between Backet and Grille Shell should have different length. Joe
  13. By the way, when i compare my grille with the picture Richard Quinn posted, i see my DeLuxe grille is black but these Standard Rockne Grille is chromed. To be honest, i am confused now. Who can bring light in these? Thank you Joe
