    1965 Plymouth Barracuda

1965 Plymouth BarracudaThis is my second Barracuda that I have pleasure owning. It is definitely NOT a show car, but it is a solid driver and has very minimal surface rust (not rot or rust through!)Specs are below:I was told that the mileage on the car is correct at 35K, but I do not have proof and the title will read Exempt due to the car ageHas correct VIN number on the drivers' door door post and factory tag in the engine bayAll the chrome and insignia are correct, presentable and on the carThe undercarriage is solid and still has original undercoating that has peeled of at places273 2bbl Engine - runs very smoothly with no knocks, noises and has zero leaks!Automatic transmission - shifts smoothlyEverything on the car works - all gauges and lights, indicator lights, horn, original radio!, heater, dome lights etc.The hand brake works but will have to be adjustedDoes not overheat and does not burn oil/coolantThe interior is little faded but clean and very presentable. Seats have no major tears and rips.Headliner is clean and tight, but has unraveled seam upfront (it does not bother me, but you may decide to change it)Doors shut firm and tightAll the glass is good with no chips and cracksThe paint is faded and very far from being a show quality. It has plenty of dings and touch ups, but it adds to its character (there is a chipped paint section about 2" x 3" next to the passenger side back window that exposes the sheet metal - again no rust through...just missing paint)It will also come with original manualIt will come with clear/clean TX title in my nameCar is sold as is where isOverall, this is a very solid, driver quality Barracuda that you can enjoy as is without fretting over occasional nicks/scrapes or people coming up to it and touching it. My asking price is $12,500.I will be happy to provide you with any additional details you may need and answer any questions you may have. You can reach me through here or at my cell 281.six8six.5005. The car is located in Houston, TX.Thank you and ride safe.Martin

    Please help identify this valve

Thank you for all replies. Much appreciated!
  6. Good Afternoon:I have recently acquired 1959 Edsel Ranger 2 door sedan (never had this car before), which is pretty stock with Economy 6 cylinder engine - also all stock. When I started the car the other day, I noticed a slight coolant leak/drip from the top of the valve, which I assume is manual heater control valve (or not) but I am not sure. (Photo is below/ attached below). I do not believe this is a drain valve is one of the heater hoses is directly connect to the valve itself. Does anyone know if this is, in fact, heater control/shut off valve and what would be an easy fix except obviously changing the entire valve and hose (the hose is in decent shape). I have tried to hand tighten/loosen the valve, and, boy, this thing will not move. I sprayed some WD40, and the thing will not budge. Before, I start screwing around with this, I wanted to check on the forum and get any advise from people who know what they are doing )! Any advice is much appreciated!Thank you.Martin

SOLD-1947 Ford 1/2 Ton PickUp for sale

    Yes sir....my bad....thank you!
  9. SOLD!!!! Hello there! Here we have a very nice, clean and pretty unmolested 1947 Ford 1/2 ton pickup. The truck is an excellent driver with a classic look. It scoots pretty nicely on the road and is perfect for local runs, meets and Sunday drives. My family and I enjoy driving it whenever weather permits. The truck came from Florida, and I have some old beaten up registration cards from the 60’s to the 90’s showing the truck resided WV and FL. Some features below: Clean/Clear TX title in my name No rust or rot! Does not overheat! Does not smoke or leak! Flathead 6 with no knocks, no smoke or leaks Standard 3 speed (on floor) with reverse – shifts very smoothly Drum brakes – stops very well! Paint is very nice and shines but has some dents, scratches and bubbling – 5 footer The floors had repairs some time in the past Windows go nicely up and down The chrome is nice but does show light surface rust The windshield wiper works! The horn works! The lights (hi/lo) work Tires are bias ply correct to the year It has been converted to 12V but other than that it is pretty bone stock The only gauges that are working are Oil and Temp You do not see these very often especially uncut ones. I have priced the truck very reasonably to leave a space for your touches.
