  1. Does anyone know where I can find/buy an ABS module for my 90 Reatta?
  2. my car is 1990. when i toggle the CC switch on the left stalk, the "cruise" light goes on, pushing the engage button does nothing. light goes out when disengaging the switch. my mechanic has checked the vacuum hoses, all good. I will check for codes and the heat/ac maneuver
  3. I hope someone can help me figure out what is wrong. The cruise control worked when I got the car 6 mos. ago. I haven't driven it much, have been busy with other issues. Recently the ABS light came on, but the brakes work fine. So, took it for a ride recently and the cruise control didn't work. My mechanic suggested the servo was bad, so that got replaced, but still no CC. Does the ABS light have something to do with the CC not working? What needs fixing? Thanks!
  4. I am happy to report that the Centric clips solved the problem of the rattle brakes. I used a little velcro to hold the mirrors up when the visors are deployed. Once I get the body work and paint done, I'll take the car to the trimmer and get the top sorted.
  5. i used some crazy glue and tiny piece of velcro to keep the mirror cover in place.
  6. Thank you for the advice. I'll get the Centric clips. I was hoping to get input from someone who actually has purchased and installed them. As for the visors, I'll try to fix them and buying used ones is a last resort. I did look at the tutorial about top replacement. It looks like the weatherstrip has to come off. I may end taking that to the upholstry shop.
  7. Hi all-I am seeking help with a few issues with my 90 convert. I have not gotten much help from ROJ, so I'm hoping someone here can help. 1st issue-brake caliper rattle. How can I make this irritating noise go away? 2nd. issue-when I extend the visor to block the sun, the cover for the mirror flops down. What is supposed to hold that up. also, the little plastic lens that cover the light broke and wont stay on. Are this available to buy anywhere. 3rd. issue-the top. see photos. Anybody done a repair to this? if so, how and what did you use to fix it? Thanks for any help or advice you can give this Reatta owner.

    rear sway bar

I think i figured it out. took the sway bar to my favorite muffler/suspension shop in San Diego (Dualtone). The tech (Darrin) says i may have what you need. See photos. The bushings are two piece, the inner ring of the bushing fits perfectly into the hole on the sway bar, when both "grommets" are on, the length is 1", which is what the other end of the bar is with the old bushing still in place. the last photo only shows one grommet sitting on top of the bar end. best of all, did't cost me a penny.
  9. Since I have not gotten to first base with the search for the bushings, maybe I should try to find a complete rear sway bar that has decent bushings in place. Does anybody have one or know where I can find one?
  10. I am interested. two photos attached. one end has a bushing, but pretty worn out. the other end has nothing. can you help?
  11. who has made them in the past?
  12. I'm looking for the bushings that go on the end of the rear sway bar. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks here's a couple of photos of the sway bar. one end is missing the bushing, which was banging against the bottom of the strut/shock, and the other end has a bushing, although slightly worn out.
