  1. I am trying to get hold of a copy of the Selden list, produced by the late Tom Reese of Mound MN, where he collated various Selden numbers for a variety of cars. I understand Tom gave out this list, freely, to those interested. I have transcribed some 15000 Selden numbers (from Cadillac factory records) and believe that, with Tom's list, I would have a better understanding of ALL Selden numbers allowing me to date any car to within two weeks (of August 1903 to January 1911 inclusive). If anyone has a copy of Tom's list, I would be very grateful. I believe, at present, I can date ANY Selden plate number (stamped bottom left) to an accuracy of +/- 2 weeks between 1903 and early 1910. From January 1910 to January 1911 (when the last Selden plate was affixed), the accuracy is down to a month (because of a lack of data on my part). Does anyone have a copy of Tom Reese's Selden list, please....??

  3. 1903 Cadillac - but the photo has been transposed (it was Right Hand Drive). I have shared this to the Single Cylinder Cadillac Facebook group. Thanks for sharing.
  4. The rear tonneau is original, though it needed restoration. The runabout body is by Greg Tocket. The hubcaps are actually my own - I copied the design off an Australian car, then had the hubcaps coined/stamped along with machined hubs. See https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10227450171544092&set=p.10227450171544092&type=3 Why not come and join us at the Single Cylinder Cadillac Facebook page?
  5. This is my rear entrance tonneau. The runabout body shown is not a Wilson (so not Cadillac, or Ford) nor is it a Queen. I don't believe Ray Wells made this either - his bodies are, from what I have been told, very close to the original (and he would have got the scrolls correct). Feels like a body made for a replica. The Horseless Replica guys have some plans for a 1903 Ford. It feels more like something made from those plans. I will, though, share your listing with the Single Cylinder Cadillac Facebook group. You never know.....
  6. I understand that the late Bill Bell donated a large collection of early Vehicle Registration Data to the AACA. Where can I find what data this collection entails and, as someone based in the UK, how can I access it please? Has it been digitised...? I have accessed early Vehicle Registration from archives in Ohio and Oregon. I understand that a lot of the early Registration records survive for California. How do I find, please, where other Registration records are located (in various archives etc)....? I am trying to carry out a study of where the Single Cylinder Cadillacs of 1902 to 1908 were dispatched, and the owner's name when records started. So I wish to search for Cadillac engine numbers in the Registration records, nationwide, as shown in this example from Oregon. Thanks for any advice members are able to provide.
  7. Can anyone identify this early pedal car, please?
