This 1941 Dodge D19 with manual shift has been off the road for 8 years. We have cleaned the fuel system, tank to fuel pump. A new 8v Duracell was hooked up and it started right up. Solid frame!

Once it warmed up it idled smoothly for about 30 minutes. Amps were charging at 160 degrees and maintained a 60lb oil pressure. The brakes are holding after bleeding and it moved forward and back. i will adjust the clutch,

Have keys and Texas title in hand.

The floors are weak but serviceable and there is bondo in the quarters. The trunk is dry and under the hood is really  IMG_0558.thumb.JPG.831cae86b67c113e85ac38f7fd73af4f.JPGclean complete and original. It was change to a negative ground, some time in the past.IMG_0491.thumb.JPG.a87de9529b078878f691f6ea540ea6b3.JPG

Some "sympathetic restoration", paint and tires were done before it was on the road in 2012.

Looks like they stopped at the interior. There is a good horn ring and speaker grill included .

The content of the trunk is pictured. Door Panels, headliner bows and jack, pictured.IMG_0576.thumb.JPG.54d9e049ab7e6320c3ee5eb1df44bd7b.JPGIMG_0490.thumb.JPG.b4ce87e21a8eb62b8208cc403083d1c5.JPG

The car is located in Forth Worth Texas. Please see the pictures and ask what you need.IMG_0490.thumb.JPG.b4ce87e21a8eb62b8208cc403083d1c5.JPG

  3. the price will be contingent on what it will take to get it running and what it will need, once we do.

picking up a new battery tomorrow and will bust it off on wedneday.

we just got it in two weeks ago.

you know the story,"it was running when i parked it." that was in '13!

it's all there and very clean under the hood. the carb looks clean, anti-freeze in the block and oil is clean. two tone wheels!

so i think it should start right up!

"we will know this week and i will let you know.

    talk soon, alan

Mr. Allen Swift (Springfield , MA.) received this 1928 Rolls-Royce Picadilly P1 Roadster from his father, brand new - as a graduation gift in 1928.
He drove it up until his death last year.....at the age of 102 !!!
He was the oldest living owner of a car from new.
He donated it to a Springfield museum after his death. It has 170,000 miles on it, still runs like a Swiss watch, dead silent at any speed and is
in perfect cosmetic condition. (82 years)
That's approximately 2000 miles per year.
